Multimodal Texts: Year 6

Multimodal Texts are CD-ROMs containing digital texts for on-screen literacy lessons. Gill contributed to the Year 6 resource, together with Celia Warren, Sue Graves, Fiona Undrill, Clare Robertson, Sarah Fleming and Adam Guillain.

• The Year 6 CD-ROM contains fourteen digital texts including:
• Dramatised playscripts with sound effects
• Animation voice-over
• Audio with transcript
• Eight images with sound effects
• Podcast with transcript
• Illustrated poetry with audio
• Three illustrated stories read aloud
• Video with voice-over
• Three self-contained websites with images or video
• Printable activity sheets for group or individual work
