New Literacy World

Gill was Series Editor for Literacy World, published by Heinemann. The scheme provided shared and guided reading and writing resources at Key Stage 2. Covering fiction and non-fiction, it was the most successful Key Stage 2 literacy programme in the UK. New Literacy World builds on the success of Literacy World by updating it for today's classroom and has been revised light of the Renewed Framework.

The scheme comprises Big Books and Anthologies for shared reading and writing, Pupil’s Books for guided and group reading and writing. Software fits alongside the core resources and allows teachers to integrate ICT. Teacher Support is provided through Teacher’s Guides and Guided Reading Cards. Teaching Assistants are supported with Guided Reading Handbooks.
