Tailor-made support

Gill offers tailor-made support for individual schools looking to improve results in specific aspects of literacy. Her experience as a literacy consultant and working with teachers in classrooms means she can suggest effective, specific and practical strategies for improvement and development.

A typical support package would start with lesson observation, work sampling, feedback and gathering thoughts and responses from teachers.

This enables Gill to design targeted strategies for an individual school, so they’re not provided with a ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution.

The strategies and plans are put into action using a combination of classroom support and training.

Follow-up evaluation visits give Gill the opportunity to address any lingering concerns and suggest ideas for further improvement.
